300,000
Never really posted much, other than an occassional help thread. Yesterday my 91 SE hit the 300,000 mark. Original engine still running quiet and smooth. Oil level hardly drops between changes. Rebuilt auto trans at 220,000. Even tho I have a newer car, I never hesitate taking the Max anywhere. Good car. Still solid. Thanks for the help so far, I'm sure I will be around for some time.

Another BG6 Maxima hitting the 300k mark. And a clean one while at it. Wish mine looks like that right now.
Mine hit 300k back in December but I'm swapping the motor now cause my dad doesn't want the spare engine in his garage anymore.

one of my DD 4th gens has over 300K orginal motor and trans. It has so many miles the odometer broke. The trans is giving signs its just about had enough but that car will be driven until its wheels literally fall off.

Thanks for all the comments. I'm the second owner. I bought it back in 04 from a college professor. She was an older woman. She took excellent care of the car. All the lower mileage 3rd gens I was lookin at were in bad shape. I came across her ad in Auto Trader for this one, almost didn't call because of the high mileage(193,000). As soon as she pulled into parking lot where I met her, I knew I wanted it. Couldn't believe how smooth/quiet it ran and how clean it was. I told her I wanted it. She insisted I test drive it. Of course. So I did, and she directed me to a certain street so I can "give it some juice" as she put it. HAHA. 107,000 miles and 7 years later....still goin...I'll never sell it.

I have to agree thats a clean ride you have! My car just hit 253,000 miles this weekend after taking her on a 1,000 miles trip To Columbus Georgia to Altanta, Ga, then bak to Columbus, and then bak to Columbia SC. I was doing 85-95mph . I still got almost 400 miles on a full tank. Best car Ive owned! Never had a car with this many miles lol!

wow congrats
mine made it to nearly 429,000km before the engine and trans have had it going to go out with a few local guys for a cruise Friday and beat her for one last rip, then shes gonna go to a local guy who needs the parts

congrats on the hard work of you and the previous owner to keep it in such good shape.
I keep wanting to sell mine, but can't seem to let it go. It will be a tough decision to make one of these days.

wow that car looks clean and straight as an arrow! Im betting that being in soCal you probably drive alot on open highways and gentler driving habits, id love to see a car show so well with age after being driven here in the hectic & ruthless long island/NYC area. But with proper maitenence and care i dont doubt that youre able to keep these cars running for a long time

I'm in LA area, so about 70% city/30% freeway driving. Lots of stop and go, stoplights every 50ft it seems. Since owning it I have not been easy on it. But I do take care of it. The first half of its life was in Irvine which is suburbanish. I'm pretty sure the previous owner drove lots of freeway miles.
I have never seen so many freakin' stop lights!
I have driven in the LA area a bunch of times and it is like miles and miles and miles of strip malls and stop lights. I am a lot more used to it now after several trips there.
I remember one of the first times I was down in Southern California, I drove from Anaheim to Huntington Beach. I just took "Beach" Blvd thinking it was just down the road a ways to the beach. Ha! It was like 30 miles with a major traffic signal every five blocks. Took me over an hour. That was before I had a GPS, too. Just used a paper map.
I had about the same experience going from dowtown LA to Santa Monica when the radio said the freeways were all jammed. I think that freeway is ALWAYS jammed.
Just as a point of reference, the town I live in only has eight stop lights. Most of them are downtown and from 8 p.m. until 8 a.m. they just flash yellow on the East-West and flash red on the North-South, so you can cruise all the way through town without stopping. I think there are only four that have left hand turn signals.
