What's the best looking part of the 3rd gen?

Everytime I look at my car parked I keep on thinking the best looking part of this car is the rear end. The way the rear windshield hapes into the trunk with just the right dimensions and curves to me there's not a better looking part of the car. Many people like having a spoiler on their car and more power to them if they like it that way but I prefer the sharpness with out one. So what part of this car do you guys like the most?

92 VG
Popcharger
Jacobs Electronics Ignition
150000 miles and still going.

Future mods:
Y-Pipe Duh!
Stage 1 Cams
Fix exhaust leaks
GPS/DVD/Mp3 Car audio system.

I love the whole thing.....

My father has a 89 gxe.... I just love 3 gen maxima.... Not just because of its popularity, but buy the looks... I do love the Behind..lol Maxi got a cute ****... red version... the black on is ok... but red gives it flavor... But with good looks must be accompanied by power...

My 1991 Gxe is great...That's why I love Maxima's perido. WHat more can a fan say... mods are cool... Every Maxima out there reflects every owner. From the Mods To Stock... Every owner has a piece of Maxima within and Every Maxima has an owner who charish them..

Long live 3 Gen....

Same here. I the @ss-end is one of the nicest I've seen on any car! I just regret that my parking space infront of my house doesn't let me see it all the time.

Without doubt the low hoodline, flat and smooth. The shape of the front fenders comes in a close second, especially on a lowered car with rims using offset to fill the 'bulge'.

Special mention to the clear rear indicators, pity they didn't make it onto the 4th Gen.

IMO the only shape on a 3rd Gen that looks even remotely '80s is the foglight design.

I like the Sleek design of the front end. The way corner lights seem to wrap the headlights around to the side is bootyful. Gauges, door panels, hood incline and especially dat @ss! This car is a beautifully designed machine which will never be matched!

NO way those are the best rims for the 3rd gens...the 91-94 alloy finished ones especially. The gxe rims are the ones that are horrid. If i ever decided to go aftermarket rims id go with Chris' ROHs

The treasure definitely lies inside...

...the dashboard at night. The best dashboard I have ever seen that is pleasing to the eyes is the 3rd generation at night. I love the glow of the gauges, that light rocks. Worlds better than any other car I have seen (this includes vettes/vipers/BMW/et al).

That looks good! Are those 98-99 Stang GT wheels?

I like the way the corner lites form into the front bumper..

Now that's dramatic, sure, you are a little faster between 10-30 mph, but you know that every time, all you see are my corner lights catching up. And I agree with Jdwyer, race a 3rd gen VE... you're gonna realize that you need more "lift" to keep up.

4th and 5th gen...

Uh... As far as accelleration, isn't the VE 5spd Maxima the fastest one yet? I thought it was as far as 0-60 and 1/4 and stuff - even when compared to the new 255bhp cars.

Even if that's not true, 3rd gens are just better. I just drove a 2002 SE and man was it nice... But not enough nicer than my '93 SE 5spd to justify paying so much money for a new car. I actually really like my '93.

5spd VQ's actually post faster 1/4 times...driver has something to do with it but the 95 5spds were fastest of couse until the 2k's and 2k2 rolled out...more torque and lighter car

Best looking part.....

Definately the rear 3/4 shot is like the money shot... The rear end of the 3rd gen is the best of all maximas.

Here is a few pics of my old 93 SE, miss her dearly. Best looking color and year of maxima to me...

Hmmm...

I'll have to look around. Last time I checked performance figures for the cars across the generations, the VE 5spd came out on top including the '01 Anniversary model but not up to the VQ35DE models. Is there any digest or something that has Maxima performance figures for the years? I will go FAQ myself

NYCe - As far as the best colour, etc... I agree. Nice wheels by the way - I would love to find a set of the 16" 5th gen 5spokes or some Borbet Type E's.

Yeah.

WHAT A BEAUTY!!!!!!!!!!!!

One day in a few years, I'd love to buy me a 3rd gen again... I loved everything as far as looks and handling in my car. I couldn't stand the non-stop problems, that is why I sold it.
Jacob, your car is THE perfect 3rd gen in my mind It's a 5 spd, it has a black leather interior and it's that Metallic blue pearl color! PERFECT. very rare.
