89-92 Maximas uses R-12 refrigerant while 93 and 94 use R-134a. I wouldn't recommend mixing any parts that use different refrigerants for the AC.

I'd check rockauto's parts catalog for differences in construction. If they are the same then thoroughly flush the junkyard condenser and all should be well.

The condensor part number for cars made through June of 1992 is 92110-85E10. This covers the 1989 through 1992 models.

In July of 1992 (which is the start of the 1993 model manufacturing) the part number changed to 92110-7E00. There is a note attached "F/AIR CON, HFC134A"

I don't think that Nissan would change part numbers just because the refrigerant changed. There must be something different in the way the condensor is made. But I cannot find what that is.

edit:
I found dimensions of replacement condensor by some manufacturer and the dimensions are different.
The 89-92 condensor is 27 1/4 x 14 x 1 for 381.5 square inches.
The 93-94 condensor is 26 11/16 x 14 7/8 x 1 for 396.98 square inches.

The R-134a condenser is 4mm thicker than the R-12 condenser so I wouldn't risk using it.

But if I remember, when I did the full conversion myself, I know the ends of the low pressure hose were completely different between the two systems. Most likely the high pressure hose end to the condenser (and the end of the metal line that connects the condenser to the drier) will be different as well.
