Re: Re: VE UDP. . . .opinions?

It does make a noticable difference on the VE Auto. I have heard the difference is more noticable with a VE 5 spd.

I took my car to the track and I was able to shave 2 full tenths off my time. My 60' time alone was a full tenth better than before. So, I believe your low end to get better and your tach will move faster than ever before.

For me, the UDP helped my 60' time and decreased my trap speeds by 2 mph. I seriously believe the head wind had something to do with that. But still, overall, my 1/4 mile time was 2 tenths faster than before, without the UDP. I hope this helps.

no too brag but. you all can thank me for getting an UPD for the 3rd gens made..oh course that is if you buy yours from ASP..i sent in a UDP for our cars to get r&d'd cause at the time nobody had one..we were going to do a complete pulley set but then things came up and other complications on both ends and we never got around to it."hhhmm dont see why i couldnt try again" just thought id share that with you all..

i was thinkin about trying to use Z pulleys, or machine my own. i worked for CNT fixtures and we have like 5 CNC routers. it'd be easy to design and cut out. . . . . .

UDP- Good mod. worth evey penny. huge difference in free-revving and acceleration in 1,2,and 3 gears. 4 and 5 aren't noticeable though.

MMM! Is there anything you can't do with CNC? I love those things....I want to make a set of saw blades for my rims like Batman has, but my shop teacher won't let me. He won't even let us make hitter boxes or sniper scopes on the lathe!
