Tailight Mod.....

I did the modification on my tailights, where you switch the bulbs to make the outside brake light the blinker,and the brake light is now the inner red light and what used to be the turn signal ( yellow ) It was realy easy to do, and it looks pretty good. The only thing I dont like is the yellow for the brake light....I want to see if there is anyway to make that either clear or red...Other than that the mod looks pretty cool and it is mad easy to do and costs nothing !!!

I did it a while back

it does look nice even better at night and yes it was real easy about 2minutes for both....you can make them clear just remove the yellow plastic piece inside the assembly and there you go.

I live in Miami and I

have cops behind me at all times since 90% of my driving is city. I haven't had one say anything to me or stop me for that matter--also ive seen a couple of accords with the conversion done also.(i haven't done the clear scared i wont like it and regret it).If anybody does or has done it plz post a pic

i wanna do it but the bulb holders are not long enough

Its on CraigB's site..are you driving a gxe b/c my friends was short also when we did it but my SE was just right..anyways all he did was cut the wir and a piece and electrical tape worked just fine

how did you guys do this? i tried and the wires werent long enough. i made them longer, and when i switched them it didnt do anything. i thought it was maybe the ground wires, but i tried it both ways and still nothing happened so i put them back stock. can anyone explain?

i know its on the site. thats where i got it from. what i'm saying is that i did it exactly and nothing happened. they wouldnt lite up at all. i know how to make the wires longer, i already did that. will it not work unless both sides are done. cuz i only tried the left side, think thats why? maybe both sides must be done to work?

craig s site said not to turn on the lights until done so we didnt waited until the end turned them on and there they were looking tight

theyll work stock but not flipped

(shrugs his shoulders)i wish i could help more,i know craig told me the write up was given to him by someone else dont remember who right now ..maybe when you flip them there not screwed in all the way,the plug became loose...may be someone with some electrical bckground will check the post out and give u sum advice SORRY
