Remote Starter install,

I did a search on this topic but I still have a few questions regarding the install. I've got an 89 GXE with the keypad to unlock the doors. Could someone tell me what wires and where are they located? I don't know if my Max has a factory alarm so I'm a little lost.

Leave a window down lock the doors wait for about
30-45 seconds unlock the door(via the window) open it, if an alarm
goes of you have one

Don't all Maximas come with factory alarms? You should have a light in the dash that says "security" that flashes when you have anything open. Maybe it's burnt out?

yes, all 3rd gens come stock with an alarm (at least US spec ones)

Since you have a GXE, you have the stock keyless entry and you can get the lock/unlock wire in there. The module is located under the dash just between the outside of the glove box and the passenger side of the car.
You will need to find the ignition harness which is a harness with 6 large wires in it directly underneath the steering column. You'll find 12V power, ACC, and starter wires there

Matt93SE and I both have wire color codes on our sites. Check those out and you should have a good idea of at least where to look for the wires. Then check them with a multimeter to be sure they're correct.

Good luck
