it is a kenwood 10 disc changer. i really dont want to have it in the trunk. last time i had a changer in the trunk, the bass from the speakers would make it skip. i was wondering if anyone has installed one in their glove box or under it. it doesnt seem like it would fit in the glove box though. has anyone done a custom install. help me out if you got any suggestions. thanks.

Matt93SE had a changer under the passenger seat on his old 93GXE
Glove box would be a tight fit and there's not much room behind it there either

Changer Placement…
If you're putting a Kenwood 10-Disc changer in your ride, forget about mounting it under the seats (especially if it's taller than the 6-disc model). I have the 6-Disc FM model under mine, and it's barely making it, especially when somebody's sitting up front, and you have to worry about people adjusting the front seat back and forth. Mine skips quite a bit under there, but that could be because I don't have it mounted very well under there, or because it's kinda old. I'm looking to mount mine in a different place, but I like the convenience of having it inside the cockpit where I can reach it. I had the same problem with 'skipping' in the trunk compartment with a Clarion (supposedly skip-proof) changer in an Accord w/subs in the trunk, and I'm trying to avoid that same problem.
If you can swing it, I'd suggest moving whatever's under your front passenger seat, and trying to mount the changer under there instead. I'm considering mounting two small amps under my seat, and leaving the changer put.
Good luck finding a good spot for your changer.
