snow snow snow

wow, this is the first winter i've EVER hesitated to drive in the snow! probably because i like my car too much. i took the minivan erlier so i didn't have to drive my max in this crap. and when i did drive my max, i seemed like i was being more careful than i used to be. . .. maybe it's cause i used to have a jeep, or maybe it's cause i am starting to love my car, and my mod list is getting longer. . . ..

Nice to have something else to rely on anyway.

You just referred to a Bronco II as reliable?
That's like saying a Hyundai is fast....

Ok so it may not be reliable or fast but it looks awsome for an 85(some one actualy custom painted it blue pearl some time ago) plus I have the five speed, the autos in those are lucky to make it 30k in between rebuilds and when worst comes to worst there is not much a trip to Pep Boys can't fix. Besides there is nothing like taking out Range Rovers on the trail. Matt does have a point though

I have an 85 F-150 4x4 F-150 that does the job when it’s too nasty to take the max out. She is prob the slowest on the road, but she can handle the snow much better then the max. For reliability, well most of the time if anything goes it is something I can fix myself, so it’s not too bad.

Reliable?

Calling any ford product reliable is an oxymoron..just kidding..more,like a luck of the draw. I have an 86 jeep cherokee 4X4 I got for 600 bucks. Interior is MINT and everything but the cruise control works. All it needed was brakes and a muffler. It has 192,000 miles on it and runs like a champ! Those 4.0 sixes have big nuts! We got our first snow here in Bethlehem PA and the four wheel drive is awesome! Now I need to put 300hp the Jeep!

I meant as far as a backup for snow. That way he does not have to take out the max.
