can anyone explain the proper way to set the tps on this car in terms that I can understand. first all the motor has been rebuilt, the maf sensor, the iacv motor, tps, distributer, ecu, EFI wiring harness, there is nothing as far as sensors that have not been replaced on the car. I bought the tps from autozone. how do u adjust it I need the whole process.

 

Eww. U bought it from az. I learn my leason when about buying sensors from other places than Courtesy. The FSM has a step by step way at setting the ecu to adjusting the tps. I can't remember the procedure the exactly.

Factory Service Manual. Google it or better yet search here on the org and you'll find it.

 

Should be the same for a 94 VG except for injectors.

 

About the TPS.. Yeeahh, did you get the memo?

 

loosely screw on tps. measure resistance out of the plug until it's to spec...tighten screw. confirm resistance is ok after tightening.
