keyless entry prob

ok so i looked through here before making this post and didnt see anything so im sorry if this is a repost... i just got my hands on a 91 nissan maxima gxe in good condition, but i have no code for the keypad on the dopor. i have called nissan and they cant look it up...any ideas? i need the 7 digit master code so i can set up my own code...i would be grateful of any help...

first off: you didnt look too hard because im sure its in one of the stickies or had you used the search function youd have found something

thanx that helped alot but i could have delt without the attitude ur post is years old and no i didnt search through 100+ pages of forum to find it(after 50 pages i quit looking) and when i searched it didnt come up

yeah i could have just told you without any attitude. then again i could have not told you at all and just let you wonder and probably never find out.

by the way theres no point in scrolling thru the pages to find something you need. use the advanced search in the 3rd gen section. and use "quotation marks" around the keywords you're looking for. Never have I used the search with quotation marks and not come up with something relatively close to what I was looking for..

Just wanted to say, thanks for the write up Click here.
Especially the addition of just removing the Glove Box to read the system reset code.

Worked perfectly for me. Just got a Gen3 today, and wanted to make sure the security was intact and to my spec...
