for those of you with systems, where did you run your power wires through the firewall? Where was there a grommet or did you just drill through the firewall, and if so, where did you drill? Thanks

 

topic has been discussed many times. try searching.

But to answer your question, it's best to remove the left side plastic fender liner and run it through there. you can either use the hood release cable grommet, or drill your own hole and add another grommet to the mess.

how would I go about removing the left plastic fender liner?

 

jack your car up, remove the screws along the edge of the fender.
in the back you will see some plastic plug thinys(clips) take a flat head screw driver and pop all of those things out. afte you are done getting the fender free just that the fender out and bling you will see where the wire harness in there that is going from teh engine bay to your cabin. start running wires.

oh i found this out when i was wiring my side markers. to bad caause ai already drilled into the fire wall. big No NO.
