Startup of VG rebuild

Today was the day after almost a year that I started up my rebuilt VG that I poured my blood, sweat , and tears in. Everything started up and ran fine. The only thing is that it runs really rich at idle. Trying to put the ecm in diagnosis mode cuts it off. Can this be a bad AAC valve or can it be just an injector pouring fuel at idle. When you raise the RPM's it runs fine. Its just at idle. I'm thinking an injector. Thanks in advance.

Let idle for a minute, remove spark plugs, check for unburnt fuel.

Any pics of the build?

Man i'm glad to see your car coming along. I know you can't wait to get her back on the road again! Are you trying to get her ready for the car show this coming up weekend?

Well guys Im still at it. Checked and rechecked for any thing unplugged or loose. No vacuum leaks or bad hoses. Fuel pressure is good according to my gauge. 38-40 @ idle. But its still running rich. Changed out the iacv and engine temp sensor. I really beleive that i have an injector just pouring fuel at idle. But when revved up to about 2500-3k it sounds great . Back at idle it bumps around. Tomoro going to pull my old fuel rail from my old motor and see if that helps, but i will first check the spray pattern of the ones in there. Im so determined on getting her right.

Good luck man I hope you can get it figured out. It might be possible an injector might be stuck open. Have you pulled the plugs to see if any of them look rich?

Read your plugs. From there figure which injector maybe your culprit. Fyi: if you made a jig for the fuel rail all hooked but out of the engine ( transparent tuba wear) you could see which one is causing you problems. Thats what I did.
