I cannot get it to go into second for nothing, all other gears are smooth. It just started doing this!! Hopefully it's a pretty forward procedure when splitting the case.
THanks for the Link!

You want to remove the check ***** first. Pretty much the same side as the slave the are 3 bolts that contain the check ball and spring. You will need a telescoping magnet to extract the spring and ball. To get an idea of what the bolts look like there is one under the slave towards the bottom (if you were looking at it horizontally). After all that right behind the slave there is the seem where the bell housing meets the case. Loosen the bolts in according to the fsm. Use a rubber mallet and a flat head screwdriver to course the 2 apart. Beware there will be a bit of gear oil leak out once this is done.

I'm trying to locate this check ball you speak of, and either I'm blind or it doesn't exist.
I will dig further, before I give up

Yes. Its the easiest way instead of opening the case and they go everywhere(I did on my first time). Clue: the bolts should be close to the end of the veins that run along the cast of the casing. Idk if that makes any sense. I know 2 are located right below the fill plug. If you don't mind waiting until 8 (when I get back home) I'll take a pic.
