Sticky handbrake?

Any solutions? Or should i just go ahead and replace
the parking brake cables? The whole cable assembly is
sticky and it hardly holds the car even if i yank
it all the way up as hard as i can. Sometimes the sucker
wont even release all the way and i can hear my brakes
dragging... terrible

yeah, sounds like you need them replaced. mine got screwed up too and would not release, even when the e-brake handle was down. the cable was stuck in there somewhere. i would take it to someone probably to have it done, from what i heard its a pain in the *** to do yourself.
