can i unbolt engine from trans and lift out for engine swap or do i have to
pull with?
never pulled maxima engine.......

 

5spd or auto? all FWD engine swaps ive done, ive just pulled the engine itself

 

Just take the motor with tranny out from underneath, i have done it this way all the time. In fact i just did this yesterday to my car. Of course it'll be easier with the car on a lift and a work bench under the engine and tranny.
