bosch

the only "performance" sensor would be a wideband system, but any standard narrowband would function the same as OE. Good time to check the wiring for it tho, on my first one, the wiring was broken, so after i replaced the sensor I still got a code 33. Once I fixed my broken harness, i gained 35-40% more MPG instantly.

Well i accidentally threw my old O2 sensor away while i was taking the motor out. Now that the motor is back in my car; i had forgotten that i no longer have the sensor. I already got new wiring for the sensor from the harness side from the junkyard. Im not looking for a performance sensor just a regular one is just fine.

but yea just get a bosch application-specific sensor. that's what I had on my first one. Got up to 32mpg with it so apparently it worked pretty well.

Way too much.

I recently had a chance to buy a brand new MAF sensor, in fact I won the auction but the seller wouldn't ship to the US. A new oem MAF sensor is about $500 from the dealer. No big deal though, MAF can be cleaned and you can get them at the junkyard any day of the week. Cats and O2 sensors are hacked off on all junkyard cars by law.

If I didn't have the oem O2 sensor I'd probably have just tried one of the ebay ones that cost $20-$30.

NTK (NGK) is also a decent replacement IMO. I believe the Denso one is also not too shabby.

Mine has the Nissan logo and "NTK D2F" stamped right on it, so I guess it's not only a decent replacement, but an OEM one at that. Unless it's a knock off or remanufactured sensor (not even sure if that's possible).

3 wires it is.

Hmm. I guess Bosch is just an aftermarket brand then? Or maybe OE for some years, and NTK was for others?

Is your car a VE or vg? I'd like to know how you're getting 32 mpg...
