i took everything apart and realized that a couple of the bulbs had bad connections. then i made sure that i had good connections with all the wires that i had to lengthen. now it works and looks tight!

I broke mine out, not on purpose but i use needle nose pliers, and figured ok (i didn't want to do it but, oh well)
the fronts have clear lenses with amber bulbs, if i need i can use amber in the back, since i changed the fronts to clear bulbs like the back.

Its rally not that hard to take out he plasiic yellow piece. Dont worry about breaking the rest of the taillight. As long as you dont try to break the yellow lens out with a hammer it is safe. I would use pliars for the whole job. Its a good free mod. Esspecially if you rewired your tails. You really dont want your brake lights to be yellow. That could be a fast ticket.

I don't think that I want it to be white, but I think that putting a yellow bulb in there would make it brighter. Have any of you heard of or have done this --> I was thinking that it would be cool to put lights in the trunk somewhere that would light up the tailight looking part on the trunk, so at night, the whole back of the car is light up. That would look cool! Kinda like a Mark XIII

there was this tight gxe that i saw the other day that had that done. he put led's in the middle panel and it looked tight. it was a good job too, he didnt just glue it on the outside he actually put them in the panel to look like it came from the factory that way. he had his whole interior done in white leather too, and had like 20" chrome rims.
