(since I can't find regular bulb specs on short notice I'll use Sylvania Cool Blue specs)
9004: Maxima bulbs. Give out 700 lumens lowbeam, 1200 lumens highbeam
9006: BMW E36 lowbeam bulb. Gives out 1000 lumens.
9005: BMW E36 highbeam bulb. Gives out 1700 lumens.
So even without doing anything but essentially using a different bulb, you are getting better lighting. Any HID conversion on the BMW lights or our stock headlights will be a BIG improvement over any of this of course.

I thought that the 9 thousand series of bulbs all contained both the low and high beam filament in them. Is it just the 9004, do the BMW lights just use one of the respective filaments in each light?
If had time,money,skill, or any of the two. I'd follow up my skyline tails with these
headlights
