I know I was surprised too when I first bought them.....on the 4th gen they look like crap, but when I put them on my car I was like DAMN!!! anyways it was only $100 for all 4 rims with tires, can't beat that!

Okay, there must be a problem. I just checked my inbox and it's completely empty. I checked my outbox and there is only 1 PM (the one I sent you). So I'm not sure why I didn't get your PM?

Nevin...

you'll have to change the thread view from "last 7 days" to "show all threads".

once you do that, the zillion forgotten PMs will suddenly show up again.

it's in the user prefs somewhere.

heheh eyah.. after a while, the old ones dissappeared.. I was off the board for a week or so and ALL of 'em were gone when I got back.. I was like, WTF?!?!

I checked the feedback forum and saw a post on the subject, then did the "show all posts" thing and found all zillion of them.

FYI.. you're allowed 70 messages total..

Sorry to hear it's not fixable. I know how much of a pain it is to buy a new rim. When I had to replace my destroyed rim, I couldn't find any Aluminum ones.. so I ended up buying a Polished "Ghetto" rim

nope, you're not allowed...know why? because i have the same exact rims (although not powdercoated....yet) sitting in my basement waiting for tires and because you have a black max you cant have the same rims as me
that is all

in all seriousness, they'd be sweet and i wont be mad if you get them (not that it would matter if i was anyway)

nevin: how much do the rims weigh w/ and w/o tires?
thanks

I always loved those eagle 077's that Skymax had. But... umm, didn't Skymax have 1 chrome one and 3 silver alloy ones? That means 1 wheel would weigh more

It used to be like that but not anymore. I sent all 4 of my wheels out to get powdercoated white so no more ghetto chrome wheel for SkyMax! LOL

Shhh.... don't tell my bro to put it on his car. Then he'll keep them. The rims aren't at my house (so my bro & parents don't know I still have them). They are at a garage where my car club usually stores stuff like bumpers, engine parts, tools, etc. I'm not even sure if I want to sell them right now. I really really LOVE them rims. I'll regret selling them if I end up buying a car with a 5-lug pattern. So maybe I'll wait till I get my next car and if I can't use the 5-lug then goodbye Eagles

that's cool.

But was the chrome finish completely stripped? I don't know how they do it when they powdercoat.. if it's just finished over, it's visually the same, yet it's still heavy
that's = rice

I don't think they stripped the finish. The powdercoating turned out to be a ****ty job. I seriously think they just washed the rims clean and spray painted them white. This company is called Colorworks. They sponsor my car club so they said they would do it for cheap ($25 a rim) plus shipping. Normal price for powdercoating is around $175 per rim.
