I think he's been using it as a 304 SS BONG!!

Hey DA-MAX, you're the dude with the Dynomax Magnum right? (Your homepage is down for maintenance!) Tell us if it gets any louder... or is it loud already?

Chris Cheezer: y-pipe was $215 shipped, usually goes for $225 + shipping, but Dallas had a VG demo pipe left(w/ flex lining replaced) so he sold me that one for $200 + shipping!! AWESOME DEAL, WSP IS THE ****!!!!!!!!

BMan: well this might be a prob....I'm also putting on a new/different muffler(HKS/Apexi style which is known to be LOUD) so it might be louder than normal even for an aftermarket muffler, but I'll try to get some video(w/audio) of it and then you guys can hear it for yourselves.

went to a shop today to see how much it would run me to have my UDP installed and ypipe and duals fab'ed. well he quoted me at $850-$900. i didnt like that..
so i got quotes for the UDP ($65), ypipe ($250 ), catback ($50 )
so i'm ordering a warpspeed non-mandrel ypipe, then i'll have the catback done and i'll provide the mufflers instead of paying $199 a piece for magnaflows that MIGHT fit.
thats the plan anyway..friday right after school i'm going to another shop that hooked me up with my exhaust manifold studs ($200 to replace the front ones) hopefully i can get the UDP install down..

BEST FREAKING BOLT-ON, HANDS DOWN!!!!!

guess why I'm excited!!!!(like you didn't know) anyways Y-pipe is ON!!! and I love this damn thing. OMG, the pickup is sickening and the mid range, man oh man...if I smash the gas while cruising the SOB takes off!!! and the sound, Jesus....its amazing especially when hit 2nd, OMG **** sounds like a freaking V8 on steriods! but man the power is definently there, I'm gonna reset the Batt tonight, but man this thing makes you wanna just go out and drive for the hell of it! I can hit 125 almost effortlesly(thats how it seems) it just keeps going!!! anyways the install took about 30 minutes on the lift the guys were real cool, I'll be going back tommorow to put the new muffler on and I'll get some pics of the Y installed as well as the new muffler setup....now bring on the HONDAS!!!!!(LOL)

I kept my current setup on with the Dynomax muffler(gonna put the new muff on tommorow)....so I can still get some video/audio of the Y-pipe with Dynomax for 'ya. I'll tell you this at WOT.....its not quiet, but it sounds TIIIIIIIIGHT!!!!!!!!

[/B][/QUOTE]Okay, OKAY! I read it! I take it you like it then? I was only curious - I don't think I'll do any exhaust stuff on my car until something gives (or is about to give). But I'm sure everyone's interested just the same!

What are you replacing it with btw?
