New Headlight Bulb Questions
Yes, I searched, but still have some clarification questions.
Stock bulbs in my 94 Maxima are 65W/45W
The hiper industries blue plasma bulbs are "85/80W > 130/100W (=50% brighter) with no extra current draw"
does this mean the bulbs are for a car with stock 85W/80W bulbs? Will these bulbs function in my car?
also, I bought an upgraded wiring harness from suvlights.com. Will this be enough to handle the extra power?
finally, are these bulbs legal. ebay said 100% street legal, hiper industries says 'intended for offroad use only'?
Thanks

About the legality thing - I would trust the company's own website over whatever some schmuck on eBay says. They've been known to "embellish" certain important facts like legality, manufacturer... FITMENT
. If Hiper's website says "offroad only" I'd believe that.
Instead of those why don't you try Sylvania Cool Blues or Philips Blue Vision? I've heard good things about both those and they're 100% legal. Sylvania also has a new bulb out called "Silverstar". I don't think anyone's tried them yet, but they're supposed to be good. www.sylvania.com
