like the shifter wont move past drive? or you can move the shifter into park, but park doesnt engage?

if you cant move it out of drive/neutral, it could be the brake light switch under the brake pedal is broken, or the spring in the shifter button is broken. if park isnt engaging (happened to me), its probably the shifter bushing went bad

my best guess is either your shifter bushing is completely gone and not letting you get into park, somethings wrong with the shift linkage, or maybe something internal in the trans. i think months ago some guy had the same problem and something in the engine bay fell and jammed the linkage up

if you hold down the shift override button by the shifter and move the shifter, can you get it into park?
