Dad might be getting a VE

There is a Silver 93 SE 5spd for sale near my house. My dad and I took a look at it a few months ago and it had a blown engine. The dealer selling the car just put a rebuilt engine in it and it runs perfect now. The car is very clean in and out. The wheel still have the clear coat on it. The car had 153k on the original engine, but I think that the new engine has less than 80k if I remember hearing him clearly. Stock fogs still on and working. Interior is in great condition and bose system still works with all speakers. also, NO TICKING! I didnt hear a single click or tick from the infamous VTCs. It didnt have a sunroof though...I thought all 3rd gen SE's had sunroofs Well, anyway this is definitely a sweet car that my dad would probably replace his 93 Altima with. So, Here's hoping for a VE in the family

Sounds like a sweet deal to me! Just be sure to check it out thoroughly and do a title search on it. Definitely an upgrade from an Altima!

As for the sunroof thing, I think it was available only with a certain combination of options. I think it's in the Library on the main Org page.

Better ****** it up quick and put it into the hands of an enthusiast before some ricer buys it!

I've bought cars from this guy before and he's pretty good when it comes to selling us a nice car. And if there is anything wrong with the car, he would definitely fix it for us since he's got all the parts for it. I wish I had the money for this car, I would buy it for myself as a project car and drive my VG as a daily driver. I dont think I would give my VG up for it though. But a VE would be nice tho.

My friend has a 93 SE and his ticks like crazy. He wants to ground them but doesn't know how hard it is to do. I think I read on here that the VTC problem was corrected in 94, but I could be wrong tho

Click me for Craig Brace's VTC rewire page

The VTC problem was NOT corrected in the 94's.

Good luck with the VE, they are a great ride.
