Anyone do the BMW elipsoide conversion yet?

I might pick up a set soon. Anyone........how awesome are they??

are you referring to the headlights that look like solar eclipses from the 5 series?

I was'nt referring to the "angel eyes" conversion. but the euro-spec headlights for the e36 series. It's a common upgrade for the BMW owners. I was reading on their page and they say the light increase is incredible, something like 10x better than DOT spec lenses.

Why yes it is! I wish he left it dual tone (red/blac) because it looked much better. That sky blue just doesn't look as good to me for some reason.

Heheheh! thanks guys, may not stay that colour long! As for the lights i'm gonna try to fit the complete 5series BMW lamps, angel eyes HIDs the lot! pricey though!

Do you guys happen to know if those "euro-spec" headlights are different dimensions or something? I was wondering if maybe that's why Stu's max looks perfect in the BMW headlight area (no gap).

Hey guys,
If you want me to get some prices for the euro lamps let me know.
Got a parts list in the mail the other day, my local supplier now stocks E36 headlamps, they will be much cheaper than OE prices!

Uncle Pete had a load of pics on his maxima org uk site, he's since moved sites so i dont know if the pics are still about. worth a try though.

I'm actually entertaining the thought of putting those "angel eyes" HID's in, as well. Since I have no life, I might as well spend my money on SOMETHING...
