I need your opinions picking out an exhaust

I have a 93 gxe and want to get a flowmaster. I had one on my 06 altima 2.5 s and it sounded great! Deep for a 4 banger. I recently had a bad exhaust manifold which made the car sound horrible..im afraid. If i put an exhaust it will sound bad. I want something deep. Also cant find an intake so.i cheeseboxed it

1993 Maxima, Magnaflow muffler

this one sounds good to, but flow is better IMO.

Install a resonator (or even a cherry bomb in the place of a resonator not as the only exhaust), then put in your magnaflow/flowmaster/dynomax or whatever muffler on it.

It will make your whole exhaust sound better and be quieter at cruising speed. No more "bees in a can" sound.

a few years ago, Cmax, James, me, and a couple other people did a group buy for a mandrel exhaust for 3rd gens. you just need to add your own resonator and muffler. after the group buy the guys decided to sell the piping permanently

http://www.mandrelexhaustsystems.com...EXHAUST/Detail

i put i think a 20 inch OBX resonator and a GSX-71 cannon muffler on as well as the Warpspeed Ypipe at the same time, sounded really good. you can kinda see it in this old picture

Not sure if many people on the org. have tried thrush but they sound good too on the 3rd gen atleast i can vouch for it on the gxe's anyway (without resinator) but im not sure how they sound on the se's and they've been around a long time aswell and ofcourse you should put the cattman or warpspeed y pipe on it if you haven't changed your stock y pipe already.

1989-1994 Maxima (J30)

Exhaust system for 1989-1994 Nissan Maxima (J30)

Product Options Exhaust Material:
Muffler Type:
Resonator Length:
Tubing Diameter(Size):

Price: $530.00
Shipping:$45.00

This is BRM Exhaust and to my knowledge is the last good performance catback available for the 3rdgen Maxima. Other than this you'll have to piece it together...maybe get the mandrel bent exhaust for up front and this catback. I have SS OBX header/y-pipe to a Magnaflow cat/resonator pipe and a 2.5"inlet/3.0"dual outlet Megan muffler. I'm getting the BRM 2.5" SS dual outlet muffler, not that the Megan doesn't deo the job but I want to tone down the volume a little bit since it has 3.0" dual outlets.

When did they start offering the 3rd gen kit again?

They stopped offering them a while back because last I heard from them they literally hadn't ever sold a single 3rd gen kit
