What is the quickest shifter for the Maxima's 5spd tranny???

is the pacesetter any good cause its only like $50 or would i get the same effect from choppin my stock shifter down

Chopping your shift stick won't actually give you a quicker shift by shortening the throw. You would need to adjust the bearing placement and all that confusing stuff. (any help?) Anyway, plop down the 50 buck and install it, it's worth it. Just do it right or you'll end up like me and have to replace the throw out bearing twice...

i cant really see a short throw doin too much and if its a pain in... to install then id be better off puttin my money somewhere else

FASTER SHIFTS...

And it's not really a pain to install. I could do it with my eyes shut NOW, but when I did it it was in my buddy's driveway in the dark and my dumba$$ screwed it up and went out drivin like a maniac and somehow screwed my bearing.
