torque converter???

torque converter???

Anybody have expirience with aftermarket torque converter (levelten, protorqueconverters, etc) what gains should i spect from it? I only have a air intake and a y pipe.

I don't have experience with it, but expect a quicker launch (depending on how much higher the stall is). Of course, even when you're not driving hard, the tach needle will jump up a bit more when you take off, which takes a bite out of fuel economy. Also make sure you get a good transmission cooler since this heats up the fluid more.

I know there's someone on here who wants one soon too... maybe try looking around some recent threads that have to do with slowness or automatics and ask him.
