Audio question about a double din pioneer unit in a 3rd gen

Just wondering if any 3rd geners out there have a double din unit installed in their 3rd gen? I recently got a double din unit to put in my 3rd gen but am just wondering what to do for cup holders lol. Gotta have a spot for the morning coffee From what i can tell putting in a 7" screen the cup holders would have to come out. Did anyone come up with any good ideas or get inventive with a good spot or nice install to relocate the cup holders?

The factory cupholders are completely useless anyway so you won't be missing anything will you? You actually are able to use those?

LOL I agree with 100% James but unfortunately I do use it but I can only put a small or med. In there. If you put a large chances are it's on your lap. Why the heck did Nissan come up with such a stupid design I don't know. So no I doubt I'd miss em but I was just wondering if anyone else had the same situation that maybe came up with inventive cup holders that do work good and don't look retarded or like a hack job. I think the fact that the stock cup holders hide away wasn't a bad idea but they're way too shallow and the passenger holder is so small it looks like it was made for a small espesso.

at least you have cup holders.
my turd came with a little flap door to stick cassette tapes in (yeah remember those?).
the joke of a "cup holder" came when you opened the glove box and saw the two round in indents on the door.

there's always the option for the weird out of place vent clips and window clips for your cup holder off ebay.

As long as my aftermarket cupholder design fits my Chipotle cups I'm all good.

Yeah factory cup holders are a joke best idea I've had but not done is to jb weld some holders into the glove box cup "shelf"

I usually use my center console/arm rest for my cup holder fits two big slurpee cups

Never had cup holders in mine, so I didn't miss them. I had the cassette tape cavity.
It held my cd player with tape adapter.

Cups always sat between the E-brake handle and passenger seat in my car.
