noob question...

noob question...

Is this my pcv valve???..... I can't seem to find any pics for the ve30de--fsm is sorta vague..or im dumb. Probably both. But either way I need to replace it.

Not sure but it looks like a brake booster tee fitting to me... it should be connected back to the intake manifold collector...your PCV looks like it's coming off the block according to the drawing...

Isnt it the same on VQ30DE as the DEK?

If so, look right under/to the side of the throttle body, there is a hose going into the IM. It should be connected to other PCV hoses on top.

this is a VE30DE engine not a VQ. VE30DE are based of of VG30DE

OK thanks for the help--ill take the hood off this weekend and get a better look..its a tough angle to see anything back there

VQ's PVC is in the rear valve cover (driver's side)....

Do you know if the vg pcv will work on my ve? Otherwise I gotta order one from rockauto or my local parts store.

Also what do you recommend for a replacement hose as opposed to going to the dealership-none of the local stores can get it. (ie would a fuel line wrapped around a little to avoid kinks work?)

That's not the PCV but you're close. The VE PCV is located on the rear (firewall side) head, on the passenger side of the engine.

I'm nearly certain the VG and VE valves aren't the same. I've always had to order mine online due to not being available in physical parts stores

Found it! (I hope) Lol...it doesn't seem like its too tough to get to--just took a lil time to find
