Exhaust

Since alot of the information on this is out/broken. I would like to know if my only option is with the cheap headers on ebay, and the obx? I want to swap the entire exhaust out, possibly straight pipe it as well since I have no emission testing here in Columbia, TN.

and then there's always custom made. if the part is not available off the shelf...you'll just need to build it.

Hey I just Saw a friend of mine's 3rd gen's catback and it's a Warpspeed in conjunction with a retipped 5th Gen rear muffler! ....Plenty of 5th Gen heading to the boneyard and retipping them w/3" SS VUE tips looks sexy of hell and fits the 3rd gen really well...

Since I went with the obx headers, what modification needs to be done on them? This on a VG30 Maxima. I also want to know if the mandrel stainless steel pipe will fit. Just so I don't buy something that won't work. Of course I may have a local shop make the exhaust if they can do it cheap enough. Alot of cutting and welding. If I went mandrel which would be better 2.5 or 3?

You can buy the MES tubing kit or catback and install it yourself or let the muffler shop install it....either way it should be easy! Grab a flanged Hi Flo Cat from Warpspeed and you're good to go...I would also recommend poly exhaust support bushings from Kartboy...

This is what you''ll need:

I see they don't list them anymore (I assume because the 10-15 of us on here were their ONLY customers), but they make an actual tubing kit for the 3rd gen. I have one I've never installed from the group buy years ago

I'm sure if you contact them they'll sell a 3rd gen kit even though they're not listed anymore
