3rd Gen Coil Spring Advice (NOT THE COIL OVERS!!!)

I read many posts about lowering the 3rd Gen and that's not what I'm after. After getting the car running I'm focusing on the ride itself now. All the struts look like they've been there forever and the boots are all trashed. I measured the distance to top of wheel well per the FSM. The FSM states 27.72 inches at the front and 27.13 at the rear. Mine are all about an inch lower than that EXCEPT the right front (passenger) is 27.72 +\- . Pretty close anyways. It is a clunky ride and i can feel the 1" lean! I want to replace all 4 struts and ordered some KYB-GR-2-Excel G from Tirerack already. I can't seem to find the coil springs though. Do you guys think those should be replaced as well? I've already dumped about 2500 into this little project and it's really not a concern. If you've read along as it has been progressing, it's just a pastime while I go through some extensive cancer treatments. My goal is to cure this car AND my colon!! The car is the cheap therapy! One bottle of chemo pills was over 6000!!!!
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!
CAR UPDATE******* starts and runs really good. Except..... Engine light and FI CODE 51 still blinking. No backfires but "pops" when revving in park and idle drops to about 500 sputter after it gets to running temp. Also, smelling gas in the exhaust. I remember cleaning the butterfly in the AAC before installing and moving it around. I read later that it is a no-no. Could that be an issue? Still troubleshooting but a bit frustrates because I'm not a mechanic!

So, are these NOT going to work on a 1991 J model Maxima?

Just replacing the struts all around should be fine. Im not sure if you can even get a standard spring for them. Maybe the dealership or just try to keep searching. There are lowering springs available but if you want to keep the stock height i'd just do the struts and keep the stock springs unless you have a broken one. KYB are good struts. As far as the antena goes you can find them on ebay i believe. Mine doesn't work either but it's never been much of an issue for me. Im still thinking your misfire and fuel smell is either an injector on the fuel rail not seated properly or a pintle cap but from what i remember you replaced the injectors so im not sure a pintle cap may be your issue and also check the 2 short fuel line hoses on either end of the fuel rail to make sure it's clamped down well or that you don't have a leak there.

Those springs will work but i believe they lower your ride at either 1.6" or 2" it's one of the 2 with B&G springs. They will also give you a stiffer ride meaning you'll feel the bumps a little more but will give you better handling.

Eibach are a good spring to pair up with the KYB struts in my opinion but again will give you a stiffer ride and will lower your ride 1.6" both front and rear. They were discontinued in 08 for the 89-94 but try checking the classifieds or put out a WTB in the classifieds and you may get lucky if ofcoarse that's a spring you'd like to go with but if you want to keep a softer ride but firm it up a little i'd just change the struts. Unless you want to start burrying yourself into it like i did lol. I know i'll never get back what i put into my 3rd gen but i don't have any near future plans of selling it and what can i say i like my 3rd gen.
