some bulb ?'s
some bulb ?'s
ok, i've did a search and couldn't necessarily find what i was lookin for....saw bulb sizes for the newer generations but i wasn't sure if they are the same as 3rd gens. anyhow, can anyone tell me tha sizes for speedo, tacho, etc. and the size of the dome light..would greatly appreciate it!!
is that answer stored somewhere for people to cut and paste it in as a reply? Maybe we need a new button, perhaps between the IMG button and the # button that we can push and the stock "do a search" answer will automatically be inserted
maxdout92se - bulbs have been discussed on this board ad nauseum
here's a trick to using search.. if you don't find what you want using that subject, get a little more general.
try "bulb" for example.
I found the answer on the dash light question using only "bulb" in less than 30 seconds.
the other thing you can do is just pull them apart and go to the parts store with them and match them up on the shelf.

ok, my next question....anyone know of any other company that sells red led lights other than autodynamic.com...not tryin to be cheap, but i'll be damn if i'ma pay $40 for some lil freakin bulbs (unless of course there are no other alternatives )!
If you have the Owner's Manual, a lot of the interior bulbs are listed there. If you don't have a owner's manual try getting one at a junkyard - it comes in very handy and has lots of info.
Also maybe try including other words like "instrument(s)" and "guage(s)" and "dash" or "type" in your search (since I think it's not really a bulb size, but type you're after). Depending on how many pages of hits you get, this is something you could use later on.
And guys (not you Matt), be careful about instantly jumping on someone and telling them to search like it's some kind of game. Sometimes the search engine even screws up and doesn't work for some words, like anything with the word "clutch" a few months ago for me. Not everything is always easy to find or search for, and your comments weren't very constructive and ignored what he'd said.

hey I wasn't jumping on the guy, I just think it's funny (in a sad sort of way) how often people reply to questions with the "do a search" response when it would be just as easy to give an answer.
plus, I thought that my pointing out the numerous amounts of previous posts relating to his question was quite constructive by encouraging him to keep tryingbut, hey, thanks for keeping us all in line
I was not being sarcastic. Sorry if you took it that way.
I did not know the answer so I did not give one. But it was late so I figured the Quikest way to get an answer would be to follow my directions rather then wait for someone that did know

All you have to do is click on the SEARCH, it is located on the top right of the screen. You can even set it to search only the Third gen forum. This will give you everything you could need

this "newbie" title...when will it change..lol? anyhow, i've peeped other threads and saw tha chain reactions of tellin someone to do a search cause that topic had been discussed b4, i did my search tha first time and i guess i used tooo many keywords...anyhow, no disrespect was takin, i know tha feelin of bein consistantly asked tha same question over and over and over and over again. bein that i'm a "newbie"...lol, don't wanna be on anyones bad side....i know i'ma need help from you guys sooner or later!! DAMN I LUV THIS SITE!!
Yeah, the "status" thing is JUST a reflection of how many posts someone has made, so let that be a caveat that a "Maximaniac" may not necessarily know what he's talking about - he could be just a huge Post *****!
