Found Some Lexus Is Rims....

A set of 5 235/45 17's for $900 brand new. I'm rollin on 205/40 17's & it rides like $#!t. If I just go out & buy a set of 235/45's i'll spend like $550, but if I buy the set of rims (with $200 dunlap wraps mind you) & sell the rims I have for like $500 I'll only be paying $400 for the right size tires plus nicer rims with a spare in the trunk.

What's the offset on those Lexus rims? You may need spacers to run those tires....

If the IS series follows Lexus tradition, the centerbore will be to small to fit on a Maxima. If you want to run them you might have to have them bored out first.

And yes, check that offset.

I had 205/40s and loved them I am getting a little wider this summer but I love how low and great my max rides on the low profile. I swear you cant even tell that theres a few inches of tire

For some reason I thought the IS300 rims ran a high offset like 40-45mm or something.

I believe the centerbore is too small also.

Your tires should wear faster with the lower profile. Has it happened yet?
