i have my tail light assemble in front of me now, and there's a outer lens and the middle lens(the red and aamber plastic). I took awt the amber one a while ago and no problems after that, now i want to take out the red plastic in there. i think i should tell you i had to break it out.

Now that my life story if out of the way, i want to know if anyone else took out the red plastic in thier taillights, or if i'm the only **** who decided to do this. and also how did it look after it was removed, Good or bad.

i tried that. you can only do it with the 89-91's, so i got one from a junkyard and did it to try to make clears. it didnt look to good, and i couldnt get all the red out. the plastic was all scratched and faded so that could be a reason it didnt look good. so did you get all the red out?
