Bad fuel leak at gas tank

Hasn't had any signs of leaks until I filled up today with gas. Got home and parked and smelled gas. Looked under the car near gas tank and 2 streams of gas was leaking onto the pavement. After about 5 minutes it stopped completely. Got in car and turned ignition to accessory position, heard pump running and turned off. Fuel began leaking again.
My first thoughts are the leak is coming from a fuel line. Hasn't been filled up in several months until today. Full tank make the difference in pressure in an old line?
Any help would be appreciated.

Probably that rear vent hose. That's the most common gas tank/fuel smell leak on these cars. They go brittle and crack. The hose is about a foot long, located behind the driver side rear wheel. If you look under there you can locate it pretty easily. It routes above the rear suspension crossmember deal. You can replace it with just universal fuel hose (pull your old one off and match up the diameter) from a parts store. The parts store worker will probably try to sell you heater hose claiming it is fuel hose even though it's not, but it will work for a few years at least if that's all you can get your hands on.

Try to get actual fuel hose if available though. You don't need the really expensive fuel injection hose, just standard low pressure fuel vapor hose.

Thanks for the info. That was exactly the problem. I haven't been filling the tank very full previously and I think it exposed the bad line when I did. Thanks again!
