Wonder what the history is on this one for it to end up in the States.

Rear Maxima decals not in the usual place either.

The rear lights and decals are from a US spec maxima along with the rear bumper (lack of rear fog lights).

The car is 25+ years old so technically it doesn't need to meet us safety and emission regulations...so it can be imported to the US legally...don't know why would someone want to but to each their own.

I agree with the bumper being a US spec without the foglights, but as for the tail lights, centre garnish and decals, they were standard for the New Zealand, Australian and RHD UK/Euro market for the 1990-92 Maximas, along with that grille, clear corners, side indicator repeater behind the wheel arch etc. Neither NZ or Australia got the headlight wipers as an option so its not from this part of the world, but we did get the fog light rear bumper though with non operating fog lights. The UK/Europe models got the head light wipers and the working fog light bumper, which of course may have been replaced with a US spec bumper at some point, so my guess is its from that part of the world
