I recently put a maf sensor on my maxi should I reset the computer or does this adjust bu itself

 

It shouldn't require resetting. Is the check engine light still on? I have read here where the battery terminal was left off overnight. I know if you go into the diagnostic mode, mode 4 should clear the codes. The one time I've ever seen my check engine light was when my O2 sensor wire broke and once I repaired it the light went off.
