i found a 92 5 speed (not sure which model yet) but he only wants 300.00. its in great condition only it's missing the motor. I was thinking of getting it and doing it up on the side. getting a new VE engine or even a 300 zx TT engine on the side. Im wondering if i should just make my max now a regular max and drive it with its 186,000 miles and buy this one and make it the ****! or even use it for spare parts.

 

I got my 91 SE for $300 and I use it every day now to get to work.

 

What don't u keep yours and buy the otherone as a side project, and when it's finished sell the one you have now, or sell the one you rebuild.

I would definatly pay 300 for a max, in ok condition just to part it out.

 

just a note, if it's a 5spd then it is definitely a SE (unless the previous owner converted auto to 5spd which are probably about 5 total in the US)

Yeah... I'd buy it and drop my motor in it. Since my auto is on it's way out.

 

was wondering how hard and expensive it would be to find an engine for that maxima. i was thinking like a 300 zx TT engine but if not then another VE or even a skyline engine. I could rebuild a skyline inside a max and do the taillights and bmw headlgihts.

 

BUY IT!!!!!! put the tranny in your car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AUTO=SLOW. . . maybe then you'll be able to keep up with me when i come visit hehehe
