Can anyone confirm if part # 22060-30P00 is the correct part # for the oem vg knock sensor for the 3rd gen? If not would anyone happen to know the correct part # ?

Why dont you just go to z1 motorsport site and get the knock sensor and pigtail from the z32. I got it for my ve and it made a huge difference. Mine had a hair line crack and was corroded at the terminals. I dont think it was ever changed. here you go..98 bucks

That is the correct part number. But that is a newer revision. The originals are 22060-56S10 (JECS) and 22060-59S00 (Mitsubishi).

Thanks. I have a new harness but figured i'd be better to go with an oem knock sensor rather than one from china for better reliability if i swap it out. Mind you the z1motorsports site says its an "upgraded harness" i wonder how is it different from the stock and why they consider it to be an upgraded version? My KS has never been done either. Were you getting a code on yours or did you just swap it out to see if there would be a difference performance wise? Also is the sensor the same for the ve and vg being i have a vg?

for the vg just double check to see if your vg sub-harness is identical to the z1 motorsport one. Don't see why they would use different knock sensor. the z32 are a vg30de motor! but ig i would double check on that.
