thats too sweet...but too bad they have probs prematurely....I think it was on the 89's??? but what models GXE or SE?? I'd love to have/convert to one, but I've heard of too may probs with it!

 

I know it was an option on the 89GXE (not for SE) and maybe for 90GXE as well

and forget about converting to that, way too much time and money to get it working

 

I never really have seen a good pic of it before like that, man I have to admit its really nice!! kinda sucks that it only reads out too 115, knowing the car can obviously pull 130+ oh well!

 

That is exactly how mine looks 89 GXE, I even have the HUD, and have never had any problems with it..

 

well that round thing goes to 115.. but im sure the digital numbers go all the way.. actually i wonder if they ever stop? one of you guys try it out.. go like 150 and tell us if the numbers go that far haha

 

They had them as on option on the 1991 GXEs too because it's in my manual.

 

Just got my digital dash fixed today. I had mine up to 125 before, I think that's how far the numbers go, not to sure though. After I install my CAI and Y-pipe, I'll let you guys know if they go farther.

 

and anyway the white faced SE gauges OWN

I think I read that they only go up to 130, but I havnt tried it - YET.
The "needle" fills the whole bar up as it gets faster, same with the tach. Kinda like you see in the gas gauge.
And again, I think the HUD goes up higher.
