Good morning guys, I have this 1992 Nissan maxima Se with ve30de. Firstly the Crankshaft of the ve30 got damaged so we ground it the later the water pump I got another from a vg30 which I adapted. Then the camshaft git broken and when my mom travelled to the US and she was sold the wrong engine the guys tricked her and stamp a 1992 on it while the vq was for a 2001, so I had to buy the manual trany for the vq30, ECU and engine harness and i wanted to have the ve30 replaced with the vq30 bcuz we have not been able to find the ve30 its extremely rare to find so please i need anyone who has successfully done such a swap to help me thru each process. To have the process successfully done

 

If you do a search you should be able to find a good amount of info on the swap. There is a member named Aaron from NWP racing who has successfully done the vq swap. If you google fastest 3rd gen maxima you'll find some vids with his car. Pretty neat stuff and all motor too I believe. Good luck and hope you start a thread with your progress.
