Engines From Japan Direct

Have any of you guys bought an engine from Japan Direct for the 3rd Gen. The engine on my 3rd Gen is in need of some serious maintenance. Instead of paying for all that crap, I was thinking of getting another engine altogether.

Any ideas?

Don't go through the trouble of getting another engine unless you have money to burn. If I were you, I would consider buying another car or try fixing your problems.

If I don't buy an engine, how reliable is a rebuild?

A rebuild can be every bit as good as a brand new motor if done properly.
