Shifting is stiff

Hey I have a 1992 Maxima Se and when I shift gears it’s sometimes stiff and won’t go in without a struggle wondering if anyone has dealt and fixed this with maybe a clutch adjustment or something like that, thanks for the help!

I’ve only had my Maxima since this January so I need to probably do that, I have checked my transmission fluid maybe 3 times now by dipping my finger in it, it’s a yellowish clear colour, doesn’t smell burnt, and doesn’t seem low.

Just change the tranny oil as you have no idea for how long it has been there.
You will see from the drain plug magnet if there are any excessive metal shaving in the box.
