you have to count flash codes from the ECU for diagnosis, 3rd gens dont often throw any codes though. if you want tuning, go Jim Wolf or Nistune. fog lamp find a junker car or a partout on here

Mines the VE30DE and there’s a plug hanging below the dash on drivers seat side wondering what that is?

Fog Light Replacement

I removed the original fog lamps and stored them because I wanted a bright and clean beam, so I installed HELLA's 550 with 110 watt bulbs. Yeah Man ! My original 92 5 Speed SE looks awesome.

That dangling white plug you got under the dash on the driver side is your mechanics plug in to analyze the full diagnostic of your Maxima. Seen my mechanic at Nissan use it.

The 14 pin grey connector with USB. I had luck with this one. Need to check your application.

For basic OBD and very little functionality.. look into http://www.nissandatascan.com/ there is a small fee for a working program...but the free version will let you know that it is connecting to your ECM.

I’m sure you can find a decent LED replacement foglight assembly...Have you surfed PIAA’s or HELLA’s website?
