Differences between Lightening Stock Flywheel, and AASCO Flywheel?
Other than price are their any performance differences. I'm getting a ACT Clutch Kit for 370 this weekend and i wanna try to do the Flywheel at the same time. ANy info would be awesome.

1. that's quite a high price on the ACT clutch. I paid a LOT less than that. (in the neighborhood of $300, shipped)
2. aasco flywheel is a LOT lighter than a stock flywheel. it's around 12lb I think.
a stock flywheel weighs in the 20s. taking 3lb off it (like Jeff and I did) won't do a heckuvalot compared to stock, but is better than nothing. the aasco flywheel is about 1/2 the weight over a lightened stock flywheel.
btw.. if you want another stock flywheel to take to a machine shop and have worked (resurfaced & lightened), I've got my original one in the tool shed. it MUST be resurfaced, whether you lighten it or not.
It should cost under $100 to have it lightned and resurfaced. I think I paid around $55 for it.

Where'd you get your ACT Clutch? I looked a little and the cheapest i found it was 352, 370 shipped.
The price of the AASCO compared to the stock is crazy. I want the performance but would it make that much?
Me and a couple friends are gunna start piping for a turbo here in the next couple weeks. Would the AASCO flywheel be better for when i do go turbo?

the flywheel won't make a difference between turbo and non-turbo..
well it'll make a difference, but the turbo there should really be the deciding factor.. OTHER than the faster you go up in revs, the faster you get into boost. that's the key to the whole turbo.. getting the RPM ranges right so you're in boost as much as possible.
but for the price, you get what you pay for.
