Me and my friend were down in fullerton and we pull up to a s 2000
It was nice so i reved on him just for fun. THe light changed and i was already beaten ,i had no chance but it was cool to see what it could do.

Later that night i saw se-r sentra with a silly looking rice wing i threw it in third and pulled with no problem then we pulled up to a light and he reved and i think i heard turbo??? I was like no way....
THEN I SAW WHAT IT COULD DO!!!!
He smoked me sooo bad
it was a sad sight and he got me more than the s 2000
anyone else had better luck???

 

VG = no match for the SE-R even in stock form

 

My old mechanic had the SE-R ,T4, with tons of mods, i dont even know what he had in there, last time i saw him and that car was like 2 years, I went to the track with him he did 11.82. (best run) , he was in low 12's most of the time. He was telling me stories, especially how he pulled up the a new vette, he reved his engine and the guy laughed at him, once the guy saw he got his *** kicked , he didnt even pull up next to him, he was behind him.

bro i hate to tell you but u really wont beat anyone in a 91 unless u had what i had. i had a 300zx engine not tt though in my 91. yes you would prolly be able to beat rice but not to many. i mean god bless the 3rd gen cause i owned 2 of them 91 and 93 when i had the stock soch engine in my 91 it was slow had no pull my 93 doch was not as goot as the 300zx engine but it pulled more than the stock soch. but hey these cars arent ment to be raced stock. i personally love the way the 3rd gen looks over any other gen. hey good luck though with urs dont crash them like i did but hey not i got a 96.

I had trouble pulllingg away a 91 SE-r that had a whole exhaust system, headers, intake, lightenflywheel and UDP and ricey body kit half painted and CF Hood. We raced down a onramp but there was a little wettness so I had no traction plus we only went to 75mph I wish I could of raced further because I was just starting to pull forward

 

Racing on an on-ramp??

Well im only a highschool student so i dont have that kind of moneyright now. But i do alright its a stick and i hold my own


And isnt it sohc and dohc meaning single overhead cam and dual overhead cam??

Yup. the VG30E engine in all 89-91 maxes and 92-94 GXEs is an SOHC engine.

The VE30DE engine in the 92-94 SEs is a DOHC engine. (note the "D" in VE30DE)

same for the VG30DE engine (90+ 300ZX. DOHC version of the same engine in your car.) and NO IT WON'T FIT IN A MAXIMA SO DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT ASKING!!!!!
