91 3rd gen maxima wheel hubs

91 3rd gen maxima wheel hubs

Cant seem to find new front hubs for my maxima, was wondering if a 4th gen maxima hubs would fit would anyone know?

Dennis he is talking about the front, rock auto only list for the rear, I think the 4th gen is the same hub as the 3rd but I'm not 99% sure because of the spline where the cv axle goes through

its the same bearing. Hub is different

sometimes...
if you let the bearing go too long the bearing sleeve (race) starts to spins on the hub then it's done when that happens.

machine the hub down...then press on a sleeve. all needs to be custom machined.

Not sure the Hubs are the same between the Dohc and Sohc 3rd Gen Maxima(s)....I would try it I thought the driveshafts were different only between the Open diff and LSD diff on the transmission side.

Dude it's experimentation time! Have a 4th Gen front hub disassembled along with a 3rd Gen and mic the crap out of it and see what the difference is and machine a 4th gen into a 3rd Gen spec...Make sure the outer driveshaft splines are the same first!

it'll work..like you said it will have different spines for the VLSD trans. so frankenstein the non VLSD CV with the VLSD
