Just curious what some of you have experienced with "Code 13/engine temp circuit". Hard start? No start? hot or cold start weirdness? Sporadic? Constant?
Thanks!

Just wanted to get back with report. Problem solved. Faulty crank angle sensor, replaced it. No code for it ever showed up. Thanks for the help.

Just curious, when you refer to the crank angle sensor, which sensor are you referring to? The round one on the drivers side of the front valve cover? Or another one? I'm having similar issues.

The sensor is inside the distributor, not seen unless you remove the cap and a few components. Simple to replace, don’t have to remove the dizzy like some manuals say. Unfortunately, as of yesterday, I’m getting a code 11 & 21 (along with an ever lingering code13) and fear that my great deal on my New crank angle sensor may have Just bit the dust after only a month or so of driving. Not happy, ROCK AUTO.

his VG is different than your VE motor.

front valve cover i believe is VTC.
the same sensor on your motor is more by the crank...i think...
