BRAND NEW Fiber Images Gloss Carbon hood

I have a brand new UNINSTALLED Fiber Images carbon fiber hood that's been sitting in my garage for about 15 years. Would folks be interested if I listed it for sale?

Looks like a regular hood, but it's gloss carbon fiber. There are some threads where it's pictured installed on other cars. I'd rather not open the crate unless someone was seriously interested.

Shipping calculations are 78lbs, 60"x63"x7"

I'm in Dallas if there's anyone local.

That's the thing.... I have literally no idea on value. Super rare, basically unobtainable. But I've got so much history with this car, I know that value is only what someone's willing to pay. This community isn't known for spending thousands on their cars.

I'd like to get as close to the $650 I paid for it as possible.

Like I said, it's in the same crate it came shipped to me in... I doubt you want pictures of a wooden box.

The pictures on the threads I linked show what it looks like installed. If there's a serious buyer, I'm willing to pull it out of the closet, unscrew the lid, and take photos.

Took some photos of the hood today.

Scratch in clear-coat. Body shop said they wouldn't recommend installing without spraying a thicker clear coat with better UV properties to prolong the life of the hood, and this scratch would completely disappear.

Genuine fiber images hood

Corners are intact. Never removed from fiber images shipping crate. 80lbs total weight 60in x 63in dimension freight shipment

I'll take $500+shipping if anyone is interested.

Amazing... my old black VE. And the mesh grille I used to make/sell lol

@crazy4maxima I would definitely get the thing cleared with actual automotive 2k clear. These hoods didn't have actual clear on them and it's just a resin/gel coat thing which was common on CF hoods even though people commonly referred to them as "clear coat". Mine started breaking down and turning yellow pretty quickly in the sun from what I remember.
