1993 Maxima VE Standard. CC hasn't been working since I got the car 22 years ago. All I can do is get the "cruise" light to flash on the dash if I hold down one of the buttons on the steering wheel while at the same time pressing the "ON" switch. The car was in an accident prior to me purchasing it and the airbag light is on on the dash. Years ago a mechanic suggested replacing the clock spring which I just recently did along with the airbag from a '94 in a salvage yard - no change to either the airbag light or cruise control. Odds are decent that the replacement parts could be bad? But the horn works fine. The rubber pad for the CC kill switch on the brake pedal disintegrated, but I replaced it with a nut/bolt. Unsure where to go from here. Any ideas?
